Did you visit the university on an open day?

Yes, the open day was good. What made my mind up was the lecturers - they remembered my name and showed a genuine interest in what my goals were.

Why did you choose to study at Harper Adams?

The one-on-one you get with staff, the size of the campus and the placement year.

What were the highlights of your course?

The lecturers! Some of them will remain life-long friends.

What skills/knowledge have you gained that will be useful after you graduate?

Too many to count. Harper Adams has helped me become more confident in my abilities.

What sort of projects have you been involved in?

A lot of research projects, some for companies external to Harper Adams. My dissertation was about how luxury fashion brands engage with their consumers over social media.

How would you describe Harper Adams?

A family.

And the teaching?

Excellent; I went from a student who was barely achieving a pass to getting firsts in a lot of my assignments.

What’s the social life like?

There is always something going on, my favourites are probably all the course dinners and final year dinner - always a great night!

Have you explored Shropshire and beyond campus?

Shrewsbury is a nice day out. There are also some lovely walks.
